Macrebur Modified Surfacing

Macrebur Modified Surfacing is made from 100% waste plastics that would otherwise go to landfill or incineration. The product is used as binder extenders and/or modifiers to reduce the volume of bitumen required in the asphalt mix, whilst enhancing and maintaining asphalt performance at the same time.

Macrebur is used in surface mixes on roads and pavements. The recycled element increases durability of roads and pavement structures compared to those that are made without recycled plastic. Not only is the surface more durable and supports more traffic when made from Macrebur, the structure is also much thinner.

Confalt Grouted Macadam Surfacing System

Confalt Grouted Macadam Surfacing System is an extremely hard wearing surface course with a high resistance to deformation, degradation and wear. It can be installed onto almost any new or existing base and unlike conventional concrete, it can be trafficked after 24 hours of laying.

  • Confalt can be applied to many areas including:
  • Airports and airfields
  • Waste management
  • Retail environments
  • Bus stations
  • Warehouse and distribution centres
  • Ports and harbours
  • Chemical plants

Because Confalt is used as a high strength product, it is typically used in areas with high traffic volumes and areas that are exposed to fumes and chemicals.

Resin bond

Resin bond is a system that gives a loose gravel effect by using smaller materials of 2-5mm stones. This product gives a high friction, more textured finish which makes a great option for patios, paths and driveways, but the bonded aggregate also works well for steep driveways.

Resin Bound

Resin bound is a product that is used for areas which need more drainage as the system creates a more permeable surface. The process involves each stone to be covered in resin before being added to the base to give more of a smooth finish. This is a great way to combine different colours and types of stone together, making it more customisable depending on the finish you’d like.
