Northbridge, Edinburgh – Road surfacing

The Northbridge in Edinburgh is iconic and is a main thoroughfare for traffic. We worked with Balfour Bettie to deliver this significant piece of work where we were required to resurface the carriageway. The logistics on this job were incredibly challenging due to the volume of traffic, pedestrians, tourists, buses, and business trade. We also had to maintain access to Princes Street and the Royal Mile and with only one route in and out, this presented challenges.

We successfully completed the project whilst working around all of the challenges.
